me!!

and i'm not even kidding.

sigh

me!!

and i'm not even kidding.

sigh

I now half regret not applying to CAS…

such a pessimistic thread. killl it!! haha

I has 3.7 UW, top 20% rank, and average SAT scores…

You dun has no worriez

Everything gon be k

(has anyone ever gotten in on a really bad ass essay?)

haha such pessimism! Think positive, everyone will get in :)

I’m not getting in… I really think I won’t.

aw c’mon don’t get so down. you never know haha. there’s still quite a bit of time isn’t there? i’m planning on applying regular decision… so i have a LONG time to wait.

good luck! don’t get so down!

nedgar? I don’t think you can reapply in RD for Penn once you’ve applied ED. :/

Me, because I know I have terrrriiible SAT scores, but SAT 2 are good. w/e how cares i can’t do anything now.

whats terrible SAT

I had a dream that I got accepted last night. Let’s see if it actually happens in the real world.

emachined… we’re on the same page… but I’m a junior… tell me if ya get in xD

I got a good GPA but horrible SAT … 2150… (damn critical reading lol) I’m expecting rejection/deferral, but an acceptance would be amazing

2150 isnt that bad btw… penn’s average is 1980-2250, so you’re right in there. dont worry too much about it; penn’s admissions are very subjective: my sister got in 3 years ago with an 1810.

haha, didn’t know this thread is so popular.

…and please, 2150? that’s good enough. me? heh… i don’t want to talk about it

and i’m asian, too. haha…oh lawdd

@emachined… i don’t know why i think this (correct me if i’m wrong), but don’t you have like a ~2200 SAT? that is not average ;)

@qwt2 I have exactly 2200 (I thought this was right around the average?)

@Euroazn - I’ll be sure to let you know

and I’m Asian also. :D

that’s at the upper end of the average.

Oh really Abivin? (I guess seeing all the 2300+'s made me feel bad about my score)

That makes me feel a little better, but being in top 20% probably kills whatever edge my standardized testing scores give me.

emachined: yup, fortunately. there are those few outliers who get the 2300s but 94% of those admitted to penn have withing 1980-2250

My stats were pretty good; when I submitted them that is. Now my grades for french and math have dropped (french by a whole lot). If I don’t get in ED I am dead. Dead. If I do not get in I will probably be looking at Penn State and Georgetown etc. Even if I do get in I risk being rescinded. I am going nuts here, nuts! My life is terrible :(
