<p>I'm neither of those folks, but we, and other hs friends, have used adult continuing ed classes. You show up, pay your fee and take the class--no problems. My 14yo took Master Gardener and was welcomed into the class.</p>

<p>My dad knows the prof, so that got me in as an auditor. What is necessary is a high school diploma, which, of course, we can just print up. I am sure that would do fine if you have an older high schooler.</p>

<p>I'm taking US History to 1877 and General Biology at my CC. I will also definitely do something this summer at a university. I think i should have started last semester though...</p>
