So go ahead, follow the law. Contribute to global warming, desetrification, and the forrests being cut down because the law says hemp is bad. And damnit, if George Bush says so, I agree.

I'm sure that everyone in the country with any critical thinking ability whatsoever disagrees with some laws. There will always be differing factions, motives, opinions... democracy is beautiful!

Not only is hemp being covered up by the government but the reason behind the war in Iraq and possibly in Iran. Its not because Saddam was evil and killed his own people its because he was about to ditch the dollar in favor of the euro to sell his oil. And Iran has recently ditched the dollar, and all we hear is how bad Ahmadinejad and how we need to attack Iran.

phishfan, please don't tell me your argument is centered around hemp. The act of us not planting it isn't going to send Earth to an environmental hell. Start a crusade if you really want to.

And yes, Bush isn't exactly the smartest person in the world. I follow basic and practical legal laws, not intricate corporate-targeted limitations.

By the way, following the statement "follow the law" with "contribute to global warming" is comical.

"By the way, following the statement "follow the law" with "contribute to global warming" is comical."

I didn't want to rant about it. But if you want me to, I will explain myself. 18.8% of greenhouse gasses comes from the paper industry. Roughly 85% of lumber logged in the world is illegally logged, cutting old growth trees. This means the land the trees are cut down on will become arid and barren, hence desertification.

I'm not saying planting hemp will end global warming.

Sorry that was pretty off topic. Just wanted to explain my stance.

"Reducing hemp usage=Global Warming?
Anyways, the pot heads would just start smoking it, which would actually contribute to global warming."

First of all, I said the exact opposite of your first statement.
If you read my post, you would understand that hemp is the male plant. It doesn't have any THC and you can't get high off of it. Stop being so ignorant and learn the facts before you refute something.

Also, despite the fact that is a male plant, all you need is a female plant to start making pot. "Hemp" is just one half to a "pot-farm." Have you ever thought of that?

So if 85% of lumber is logged illegally, and hemp won't solve our global crisis, then why would you sarcastically say "follow the law"? Cause, that's only one law that we don't even have the ability to follow whether we wanted to or not. I mean, I don't have random hemp plants sitting around in pots in my garage.

And once again, like all topics in High School Life, we have strayed off topic.

"Also, despite the fact that is a male plant, all you need is a female plant to start making pot. "Hemp" is just one half to a "pot-farm." Have you ever thought of that?"

I really hope that statement's not serious rnmadden

Dead serious. If you want babies, you need a male and female. If you already have the male, you are just one step closer ot the babies. It is not that hard of a concept. Maybe it is the pot that has devoured your brain.

^ I actually meant that hemp plants aren't exactly common. I've yet to see a hemp plant at Home Depot. Even though that's probably do more to it's illegality than anything else.

I once grew tomato plants in my backyard. I ate one, and got sick. D:

We strayed off topic 'cuz nobody wants to continue the argument that it's totally all right to support an industry that kills half a million people a year.
