<p>How many of you received such a letter saying that "Unfortunately there is no alumni interview that covers your school. Therefore, we cannot offer you an interview..."? I am just wondering the interview is directly related to which high school? not to which city or area...?</p>

<p>I got that. In fact, I live in Northwest Iowa, and I did not get one interview for all nine of the schools I applied to! Not even Northwestern. I feel like I could've done well in an interview.</p>
<p>The person that actually runs the alumni interviewers network in my area called me and asked me to call him 2-3 weeks from then to inquire about an interview if I wasn't contacted. We even chatted a little and I found out about how my area got 4 EA admits and that for RD there are around 140 applicants in my city-area. Anyway I don't think I'm getting an interview even though I didn't get a formal letter - there's less than ten days left till the absolute deadline.</p>

<p>I got that letter too with my Eli Account ID to check decisions, but then I got contacted a week ago and the interview said New Haven wanted to know more about me.</p>
