How many pages in average do you guys usually have for AP bio?

For anyone in AP bio, how many pages do you usually end up with?

I usually end up with a lot of pages, at least more than like 4! I asked my friend, and she mastered 7 sections of notes in four pages! I don't know how she put that much information in that short amount.

I feel like i'm wasting my time writing so much pages, while my friends write only a few. I want to decrease my time in writing AP bio notes, seriously.

I read EACH paragraph, and then I stop and write it down. I skip the examples, and write just the definitions, functions, and details.

What are other methods you guys tried out?

From the Campbell Biology- Most of our class finishes the chapter in a day or two, then re reads it each day until the test. We have a test, like, every week, so it’s best to do so.
Lolol, I don’t even take notes for the class, I just read and re-read a lot, answer practice questions, and then find lecture outlines to read through.

Well my teacher makes us write notes, (but he barely checks them) Although it helps me partially, it’s so time-consuming! -_- According to what my friends said, our curriculum, got easier. Instead of finishing a chapter a day, we finish sections instead.

Maybe I should cool it down on my notes, seriously >_> I realized maybe it’s taking too much of my time.

I type my notes (saves trees, plus, it’s faster). It honestly depends on the chapter, but we’re on Chapter 6. When I finish my notes on that chapter, I’ll let you know the result.

The only notes my class had was on certain topics in 7 chapters for intercession work (can type) and the Anatomy/Physio project on an assigned chapter.

Other than that, it was worksheets, projects, a few long lab write ups, and the ridiculously long question set that often exceeded 10 pages of single-spaced typed text per unit.

I’m suppose to write notes for Ch 7 and do reading guides for Chapter 27.

Well I already concocted a plan. I’ll write very little on my notes, to save me time, and instead just memorize each section, then use quizlet. I think that’s best for me.

I’d love to hear other suggestions :)

Wow problem sets? o_o I’m glad I don’t have that, we only have reading, study guides, and notes.
