<p>Buick has released the names of the “First five” scholarship winners for 2013 already. Congrats to them! Yep DCruz95 we should be receiving notifications any day now.</p>

<p>D got email…didn’t get the Buick scholarship. 
Would’ve been nice, but she’s still got four other scholarship applications out there.</p>
<p>Didn’t get one either. Ah well. I did get a Burger King one, and I’m still waiting for a couple local scholarships that are hopefully less competitive. </p>
<p>If anyone here received one, congrats! I’m sure you deserved it. :)</p>
<p>I got the $2000 Scholarship! 
I’m so excited and totally didn’t expect it after getting so many scholarship rejections!</p>
<p>I got an email today saying I am a provisional recipient 
($2000 for one year)
I asked my other friends that applied and they said they didn’t hear from them yet 
Though I didn’t get the big one, this is one of the first scholarships that I got so I’m pretty happy :D</p>
<p>I was not a recipient I’m sad to say. HOWEVER, for those of you that did get the scholarship congrats to all of you!! I’m so happy for you and I have no doubt that you’ll do fantastic things in your college journeys and beyond!</p>
<p>I didn’t get it…not even the one-time scholarship… it’s funny because I have strong stats that allowed me to gain admissions to a number of competitive schools and even waitlisted rather than rejected at a bunch of Ivies yet I don’t even get the one-time scholarship for a bunch of these scholarship programs… first Burger King and now Buick… I think the fact that my household income is $250K is screwing me over. I have an unstable family situation and really need the money…but I am also judged on my parents’ financial standing…this makes no sense</p>
<p>I just received my notification in the mail today as a provisional 25000 scholarship recipient.
I am not entirely sure what that means(?), but I feel very blessed for this opportunity.</p>
