<p>There is no such thing as a “curve.” All it means is that you need a certain score to get a 5. If you didn’t meet the baseline number, then you do not get a 5.</p>

Unfortunately no one can tell you what it is, especially this year. They took away the penalty for guessing, so it’s quite different now.</p>
<p>OP is wondering about how many points you will get from the curve, he doesn’t get what a curve is. There is no curve, there is just a certain number you have to get in order to get a 3 4 or a 5 based on the average of everyones tests. It isnt like if you actually got 50 right and you need 51 right to get a 5, the curve brings you up 5 points to a 54. There is no curve.</p>
<p>How is possible that 20% of test takers last year scored a 5?? While in APUSH only 10% scored that high? APUSH is much more easier than Chem.</p>
