how many questions can you miss to get a 36 composite score?

thanks

10char

depends on which section the mistakes are made in?

Curve is more lenient in the Reading Section, less lenient in the Math section.

I would say maybe -2 is the maximum, -3 is pushing it a little.

Assuming -1 on each section would be a 36 on the most lenient curve. 35s could be up to -3 on this curve too. Therefore, up to 8 wrong in the most idealized version of the test.

-1 will always get a 36 composite (since -1 has been 34 on reading before)
-4 could possibly be a 36 composite (-2 Math 35, -2 English 35)

Generally, you’re looking at two to three questions depending on the sections missed. If you miss one in Science, you’ve basically hit the limit; however, you can sometimes miss four on reading and still have a few questions left over (although it’s extraordinarily rare to have two generous curves).
