How many questions on the math placement test?

I know I should be worrying about getting in first, but I was wondering how many questions there are on the placement test because my parents want to know (first generation immigrants who refuse to accept I might not get in so are now asking me everything about everything related to UM).

I’m pretty sure it depends. I believe most schools use a computer program algorithm that gives you your next question based on your previous response, which continues until it finds the class it feels suits you best.
