how many questions on ap chem, compsci, and calc ab do you need to get a 5?

In Calc BC, I heard you had to get at least 60% of the multiple choice to get a 5...Im not sure if its the same for AB...

you're right for BC. It is more like 70% for AB.

For one or both of the Calc exams, if you get 100% on the multiple choice (without having done the free response), you would get a 5.

It's like that with most AP tests. Really good MC + mediocre free response = 5. (Hey, it's what I do..)

What about with Physics C: Mechanics?

man. i'm not going to study for ab now. the test is just too rediculously ez.

anyone know for english?

english i think you still need good essays. i took the 2001 practice english AP language test on wednesday and missed 6. However, while my adjusted score is only 8 points away from the maximum adjusted score, i still need two 6's and a 7 on my essays to get a 5. so i think for english you really do have to know how to write. in response to computer science, the curve really isn't all that bad. the free response in any regard are very easy. they only ask you to write a method or something. so i wouldn't worry too much about it, but they really do make you think. it was probably the most draining of all the practice tests i did. the curve on the chemistry AP test is very lenient. you can get so many wrong and still get a 5.

anyone know about AP History?

i asked my chem teacher today.
you need only 100 out of 160 raw points to get at 5

i think people should really be more concerned about how well they understand a subject rather than what is the bare minimum needed to get a certain score but i guess it's a little late for that. what you get on your score report should be by no means an end.

BUMP I really need to know about AP Physics C: Mechanics, and AP US History.

Does anyone know the raw scores for a 5,4,and 3 for the Calc BC? Getting really nervous now that the test is approaching.

All I know is about 60-65% for a 5 on BC. I don't know about 4 and 3.

Someone told me that in 1998 the cutoff for a 3 was a 39 raw score. But I don't know if that year the test was harder than normal.

bumpppppppppppppppppp

How about AP Statistics?

Anyone know about AP US?

AP BIology ????
