What is the minimum number (estimated) that one can get right to receive a 600 on CR?

you'd need to answer at least 51~ correct, assuming you answered every question.

wow thats a lot.

yeah that really is.......51 is a LOT!!!! for only a 600:(

for a 600? That doesnt sound right. That sounds like a how many u need for a 700.

March's curve, you could get about 14-15 wrong (including the 1/4 point off for wrong answers), to get a 600.

What kind of magazines available in Barnes and Nobles that would help me with the CR section? I want to know a few that is the same reading level as the SAT passages.

I think 51/67 sounds reasonable for a score in the low 600's. That's about 13 to 14 wrong, which I think might be around a 630 or so. I might be wrong though, but it's definitely not a 700.

Oh.. sorry, I miscounted, i thought it was 57.

Sorry

check the scoring ur sat from the collegeboard website.it gives converson charts for all test sections

i got 53 right...14 wrong and got a 630....don't know if it helps...

that's the tough part about SAT 1's. you miss a few questions and bam you're down 50 points. keep doing that in every section and you'll be in your 500's in no time :)

i got 10 wrong and got a 660.. not sure if that helps.. i;d say anywhere from 14-17 wrong, depending on the test

Do you guys think the articles in the TIME magazines are at the same reading level as passages in the SAT CR section? Please let me know what you think.

I took the SATs in May and got a 600 CR score with 50 right, 15 wrong, and 2 omitted.

lil_killer129, the SAT CR section pulls numerous essays and articles from all kinds of sources (editorial, published essays, book excerpts, etc). the fact is, ANY kind of reading material is beneficial, as long as you consistently read daily.
