How many Roomates?

For my feshman year there are two living options, suite style and regular living. Regular you get one roomate and one room with a communal hall bathroom. Suite style you get on room with a roomate connected with 4 other rooms and a common room and bathroom.

I was wondering what people think is better for first year students. Thanks

Definitely the suite, you can have a designated hang out spot in the common room. Single rooms are annoying because people are likely to hang out in your room, which is annoying.

The latter would have been awesome freshman year. Plus theres more accountability when theres a bathroom incident.

I think the Suite would definitely be the best...awesomeness!

The suite is definitely the preferred style. You're lucky if you even have that option as a freshman.

I wouldn't advise living in the suite if you are at all straight edge ot have issues with drugs/drinking/random people in your suite bring loud 24-7/loud music when you're trying to sleep.

I have two two straight friends in suites, and they both basically hate their lives on weekends.

Just thought I'd throw that out there.

I would prefer the regular double...

suites are better imo unless, like bazcat89 said, you're not the risky type.

doubles can be bad if your roommate's a ********. but yea. mine isn't so it's not bad.

I lived in a suite style living this semester and personally I think I would have preferred the reg. double because sometimes your roommates (like mine) can be really bad and you have to put up with a lot of noise and filth.
