how many roommates?

would you guys recommend asking for 1, 2, or 3 roommates? I remember reading somewhere that a group of 3 isn't very good in terms of group dynamics or something.. any advice?

More roommates = more fun.

My thoughts exactly, I went for 2-3 – P^3 the chance of having an awesome roommate. what about “4 or more” roommates though, is that just excessive or does the above rule hold?

i’m torn over what to put.
i’d like having a quad for the common room, though i’m not sure about having 3 roommates.
at the same time a single sounds nice too because then i’d have privacy but i heard singles are usually on the same floor so i’d be with other frosh who are looking to meet people as well.

as long as you are reasonably sociable, a single may really be the best option. however, having roommates does give you instant friends, so it may give you less to worry about at the start of the freshman year.

I had 5 roommates at governor’s school and it was perfect! More roommates definitely increase the probability of finding someone with whom you can connect/have fun. So I chose 4+.

lol i understand that sentiment but seriously 4+? i’d imagine that gets a bit chaotic
