How Many Safeties Should One Have?

<p>I've been wondering lately, how much safeties are recommended on someone's college list?</p>

<p>Only one is necessary if it is a good safety (100% chance of acceptance and knowledge that you would be happy there).</p>

<p>Only 1 if it is rolling and you find out early enough in the admission cycle to have the acceptance before other deadlines expire.</p>

<p>I got into Ohio State today! And then I threw out my acceptance letter.</p>
