hey guys, so yea, how many sat ii's are required?
someone told me three, and i decided not to apply cuz i only had 2 and didnt feel like taking another one. but then i heard it was 2 that was required and got very confused...
thanx!

okay, basically you want to take three if possible, but two is fine.

they don't require three, but highly recommend it.

...got it. much thanx

I thought 3 were required. On the Georgetown website, they say:
"All candidates, whether they submit scores from the SAT or ACT, should submit scores from 3 SAT II subject tests. The writing portion on the new SAT will not be substituted for an SAT II subject test score."

But you can always call them to find out

The website says "should" because they really want you to have three subject tests, and the most competitive applicants will have three. It is not, however, a requirement so not having three would not remove your application from consideration.

Hey, I know they want everyone to have three SAT II's, but which ones would be the best to compete with? Thanks
