Hello all,
I am a high school senior who took the SAT Subject Tests for the second time on January 26. Because applications were due January 1st, I sent the scores blind to the schools I applied to. My scores from my first sitting was 690 Math II,720 US History. For the second sitting, I scored 760 Math II, 730 Math I, and 600 Literature. I am worried that the 600 in literature will negatively affect my application. Does anyone know if schools consider more than two subject tests scores, and if so will this negatively affect my application? For example, Dartmouth's policy is that they look at your two highest scores only. FYI - I applied to Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Brown, Northwestern, WashU, Georgetown, and Duke and was accepted to UVA early action. I have a ~3.8 GPA UW, 4.5 W and a 2340 SAT (800CR 740M 800W). Thank you in advance for any responses!

BTW, I am a white male, and have an obviously Jewish name.

Columbia, Brown, Dartmouth, Cornell and Duke require two subject tests and consider for admission the highest two in different subjects if you submit more than two. As a result they will consider your 760 math 2 and 720 history. Georgetown does not require but strongly recommends three subject tests and it will consider that same math 2 and history but it is not clear on whether it will consider the literature – it may expect the third test to be in a different subject in which case the literature may be considered but it does not clearly specify that tests must be in different subjects. Northwestern, WUSTL, and UVa recommend but do not require two (also in different subjects), but will consider any sent and will consider them only if they believe the scores are helpful to you in the admission decision. Whether that will result in considering or not considering your 600 literature depends on whether they think it is helpful to you or not.
