<p>Im not sure if VT requires the SAT IIs now...but they were mainly used for class placement when I enrolled into the Engineering program.</p>
<p>what SAT2s did you take and what classes did you place out of? I got 700 in SAT1 writing, will it get me out of English 101 or something?</p>

<p>Tech doesn't require SAT IIs but if your other SAT scores are low, then taking them wouldn't be a bad idea. SATs can't place you out of classes, only AP scores and Dual Enrollment classes can.</p>
