How many SATIIs?

MIT did require 3 when Ben made that comment. :)

And to finish the thought, in case it wasn't clear, MIT now requires 2: a math and a science.

(molliebatmit and I like to finish each other's thoughts. ;) )

Are you allowed to take subject tests in November for Early Action?

This year, scores from the Nov. SATs were received by MIT on Dec. 1 in time for consideration for EA. (See http://ben.mitblogs.com/archives/2005/12/november_scores.html )

MIT wants over 720 on Math II C and over 760 Math IC

Regardless, I would take Math II - the curve is amazing. Most people who take both actually score lower on Math I.

Actually a bunch of people I know got the same scores on both. I myself got 720s on both. The collegeboard even says they're supposed to be comparable.

lol gotta love the bell curve

isnt the above stat somewhat generic?

If i took Chinese, Math and Chem, should I still take Physics in Nov.?
How many scores are you guys willing to look at?
would it make a difference if you were picking between two students?

I just felt that since I am in robotics and other engineering related activities, I should have a Physics score just to show the level of my knowledge.

Thanks!

Why did MIT reduce the number of SAT Subject Tests they require? I'm just curious because it seems a lot of schools did the same.

before , the writing section was not in the SAT I.

Right, most schools required the writing SAT II + 2 others, now they can just say 2 others.

Will January 26 scores be recieved by the deadline?
