how many schools are you applying to??

i started with 30 (solely based on USNEWS 2006), and now i only have 13, 6 of which are UCs

others are:
washington u in stl, emory, nyu, purdue, ut austin, urbana champaign, and ann arbor

so what are your schools?

oh yeah, and projected spendings: ~$1000

got into williams early, saved hundreds on app fees haha.

I got into Wake Forest early, spent a total of $40 on app fees. Wonderful for me.

Umm...how many schools? American, Denison, Earlham, Ohio U, Bowling Green, U of Dayton...oh, and then my dad wanted me to apply to Loyola (Chicago) - kind of funny since I want to do International Business w/ minor in German, and Loyola doesn't have German...ah, go figure.

I'm planning to apply to probably 8 schools MAX so thats like .... 500 dollars? I dunno

i know someone who did 23.

If I get into my EA school, then <5 others.

If I get deferred from my EA school, then ~10 others.

If I get rejected from my EA school, then ~15 others.

our school does everything so we cant have more than 10 privates... IT SUCKS!!!

i actually know like, 2-3 people filling up all ten

13-15 schools

I did 10 total.

7 total.

10char

Diez Universidads.... um ten.

I am applying to 5, but I may add one more.

well, what do you guys think is the average? there are lots of polarities on this thread!!~

I was planning (and sent parts for) 7 total, but since I got in my EA schools, it's down to 4 I think.

I was going to apply to 6 or 7 schools, but I ended up only applying to 4 cuz I decided I really didn't like the others.

I applied to 12.

Got into 9, as of now. I have a perfect record.

I really think I over-applied. Go figure. :D

i applied to 7, all RD

roughly speaking, 3 reaches, 2 matches, 2 safeties

I have about 5 reaches, 7 matches, and 3 reaches planned. Total cost if I apply to all of them = ~$800.

you mean 3 safeties.
