My school just offers economics for a semester and government the other semester.

AP American Gov't is required of all seniors above the CP level.

mine does. they are both taught together as AP economics

My AP Econ class preps for Macro/Micro. The class is stupid/good at the same time. The teacher gives us all AP problems/essays (she takes stuff from ap tests basically) for our exams (though she organizes them into units). So we're are expected get like 95% on a AP test basically in order to get an A on the exam. And she doesn't curve. Funny thing is, after the last test (avg = 60.5%), she's like...oh don't worry, if you get above 50% that's like a 4 on the AP exam. grumbles, doesn't help much when your grade is like a D. Sounds like I hate my AP econ class though, even though I have an A. She gives us alot of free points to make up for the bad test grades...I mean, if I get 80ish% on all tests and 100% on everything else, I'll get an A. At least she's never had a studnet get below a 4 on the AP tests... :)
