How Many Schools To Apply To?

<p>Hello All!</p>

<p>Well it's Oct 1st & if you're in California like me, today is the official date to apply! </p>

<p>I'm going through CSU mentor and am wondering what's the typical number of schools people apply to. I was originally going to apply for 3, but the application fee is so expensive I'm thinking of going down to 2... What's everyone's thoughts on this? </p>
