Ok, I really eventually want to apply to an Ivy League school. I know that they require two, but is more better? I know I want to take Bio M and Chem, but I kinda also want to take French and World History.
1) Which ones should I take? (I want to do something with science)
2) Should I also take a math?
3) Help!

Definitely take a math. The best would probably to take one math, one science, and one humanity. Of course, if you feel confident enough, you could always take more…

But is more always better?

If you can ace more than 2, than yes it will be a bit better. But quality is really > quantity when it comes to the subject tests. It’s better to have 2 subjects @ 800 than 4-5 subjects with 650-700 scores. I would concentrate on no more than three.

I would pick the science you are more comfortable at (Bio/Chem) and try to get a very good score in that, take Math II, and then World History or French depending on which one you are stronger in.

So no two sciences?

If you can ace two sciences then take two. But don’t divide your resources too much and end up getting <750 on both of them because it would be better to have a really high score in one than decent scores in two.
