Does anyone have any numbers for the total amount of students who applied this year, as well as the projected acceptance rate?
Official number would not be available until much later. However, it may be leaked in the upcoming campus visit info session. I got that 4 years ago around this time.
My husband was at campus days with our daughter and he said that they were told around 60,000 applied and 6600 were admitted.
@3js3ks My D was at the Campus day 10 days ago but it was not mentioned in the presentation. Perhaps they have it updated now. Nevertheless, it was already near 60,000 applications last year so I doubt it would still be around 60,000 this year. Perhaps they are quoting the old figure. I can’t believe the RD application would be 20% lower than last year.
So far, we have been told that over 38,000 applied Early Action (up from 30,000 last year). I would say that overall, Michigan received anywhere from 65,000-70,000 applicants this year. We won’t know the official numbers until later.
