<p>I’m working on my UA Honors College application, and I’m really interested in CBH. I’ll definitely apply, but I don’t have a good feel for how selective the program is. Does anyone happen to know roughly how many students apply? What about how many are invited to attend the Finalist Visit?</p>

<p>Gosh, I thought 500 applied. Maybe it was for UFE (Fellows). </p>
<p>About 55 came to the interview weekend and 40 were selected.</p>

<p>Although 40 are selected for CBHP, there is always a waiting list, because some students do turn down the program if they elect to go elsewhere for college. A few decide to attend UA but realize that the program may not be for them.</p>
<p>My son (and some others) helped with selection of finalists last year, and I think there were about 175-200 apps like RobotBld said. </p>
<p>I know that it’s reported that about 500 apply to UFE, but I really don’t know if it’s that high.</p>
