I was just admitted to UMD (Yay!) as a Letters and Sciences major and I was just curious as to how many people enroll as Letters and Science majors? And whether or not every Letters and Sciences student has to stay in the same residence hall?
Thanks!
Anyone one who applied Undecided is in L&S. I don’t know how many that is. If you were admitted to a Living Learning Community, or Honors, or Scholars, that will determine what Dorm you are in/
Thousands. They couldn’t possibly all live in the same dorm.
Cool! I appreciate the help!
My DD applied as a bio major but was accepted as Letters & Sciences does that mean she will have to apply to the bio major at some point?
Yes, she will have to do an internal transfer. That means taking the Gateway courses (these are the same ones that direct admits take), getting the required GPA and filling out some paperwork. It is Not a competitive process
@SoofDad thank you!
