How many students apply? How many students get accepted? How many students enroll each year? Thank you.

You don't really apply or get accepted into a major. Once you're in you can do whatever you want, as long as you're passing your classes. Not sure how many there are in ECE, though, so someone else will have to answer that.

what's ece?

Cornell Engineering : Enrollment Statistics

That's a link to enrollment statistics, the most recent being Fall 2007. It says there are 225 students in ECE

The Fall 2007 number is only juniors and seniors, so its about 110ish per class.

ECE, ORIE, and MechE are the three biggest engineering majors.

But when you apply engineering, you're don't apply to a specific major. Decisions are just made about whether or not you are admitted into engineering, you don't choose your major until mid-way through your sophomore year. When you apply for a major, most majors have minimum grade requirements to be accepted, you can see them here:
Cornell Engineering : Affiliation Requirements

The only reason you wouldn't get into your major is if you don't meet the grade requirements or you haven't taken the right classes, other than that they'll take you.
