<p>The BUTI Young Artists Orchestra seemed to have about what you would expect in a large symphony orchestra, with a bit more than that in some sections. The year my daughter went, there were ten bassists in YAO and about fifteen in the bass workshop. The chorus seemed pretty large, perhaps 200 or more. I did not get a chance to see the other ensembles.</p>
<p>There were just under 75 kids in the Young Artists Vocal Program last year.</p>
<p>It depends upon the program. Oboe has 12 in the workshop, and 3 each in the orchestra and wind ensemble.</p>
