How many students get interviewed

So due to the large amount of applicants and shortage of interviewers, what percent of applicants do you think will be interviewed?

Edit:

I have an interview in a few hours, and all my friends were asked to bring transcripts and SAT scores and stuff, and my interviewer really didn't say much...should i still bring a score report or something... (I am bringing a resume for sure)

Don’t bother bringing your transcripts or official copies of your scores. The interviewer, though, probably will ask about your gpa, senior year courses, SAT scores, class rank because Harvard asks interviewers to do this.

The interviewer may find a resume useful so the interviewer can zero in on the most interesting parts instead of having to spend the limited interview time getting an oral overview from you.

Also, Does Harvard presort apps and then decide who to give an interview to? B/c wouldn’t it be counterproductive to interview someone who you already know will be rejected?

Canada…No, they TRY to interview everyone they can.

It is safe to assume that over 95% of those applying receive an invitation to interview. The interviews are not offered in select countries, however, because of a shortage of available alumni.
