How Many Times Did You Take the SAT?

I heard that someone took SAT 8 times and got into U Penn.

yikes... once is enough for me
0-1
1-20
2-31
3-11
4-2
5-0

but if someone takes them a third time, don't most top colleges average out the scores. Or do the best scores in each section just rack up?

does 4 times look really bad??

i took the sat 4 times and the ACT 4 times, i think i trump all. I didn't even send my SATs to any college too lol.

Out of all the crazy things I've read on CC, not using four SAT scores has got to be one of the craziest.

One time was my maximum.
0-1
1-21
2-31
3-11
4-2
5-0

@ dardardelight - colleges usually either superscore by section or by sitting

I'm going to be taking it for the second time in May. That's my limit though, I'm really only retaking because I'm OCD...

I "haven't" got OCD but I'm still a perfectionist

I only sat the exam once though (only because doing it again wasn't an option) ;P

LOL

Febreze we are twins

0-1
1-22
2-31
3-11
4-2
5-0

1st try, 2340, no study, PWNT.

I love it when nerds try to act all cool and badass over the internet. You're not fooling anyone. And of course you studied.

I took it twice.

1st try : 2110
2nd try : 2150

Just wanna ask, do american colleges/universities average the scores for SATS and all other tests? like for example, you took the SAT1 twice...would they take the higher score for consideration, or would they average both the results and take that into consideration?

Most take the higher score.
