How many times is good to apply? Any personal stories of appointments?

This is probably my last post for this admissions cycle. I have 2 nominations for AFA and USMA. I have following through with my applications there. However if the case is that I do not get appointed I will definitely focus in not doing the same mistakes and reapply to AFA, USMA, and USNA.

I am particularly drawn to USNA just because I have been there so many times. (live in MD XD competition is so real and stronk) I have seen the other academies as well. I was wondering if there were any stories in appointments of college students who eventually got into the class of any academies. Like I said, I am keen on reapplying and reapplying…till I get in…but probably not when I am a senior. I’m still unsure once a junior, but definitely I’ll give freshmen and sophomore year a shot and make the most of my college year preparing. I have applied to ROTC…haven’t finished but will. But most likely I will not do ROTC as I have been offered another scholarship.

Also if anyone can answer these questions it would be great:

-could a college student get an loa? I heard only summer seminar student get it

-what other activities would boost my chances during college except taking course such as math, chem, physics, u.s. history, etc…sports…getting 4.0.

-and does one need a nomination for prep at usna prep or foundation. I would be happy to do that…pretty sure ALOT of people would too.

-do i need to send in my high school stuff, sat, etc. Basic question is do they keep stuff in file or do I have to send everything again? (By the way, my admission counselor’s communication is not the best, hence I’ve come here)

Answers and suggestions great appreciated!!

And…I know USNA and all academies do rolling. So if I were to finish everything summer or even before would there be more weight? (excluding nominations) I basically answered my own question but I would just like to verify. Also I have DQ from Dodmerb. Would I be given more weight if I turned everything early and possibly given a waiver? (excluding my competitiveness)
