I have take the SAT I two times and I plan on taking it a third and final time.

Will universities look down on me because I took it 3 times rather than 1 or 2 times?

4 is too many

Some say more than 3 is bad, others say you can take it as many times as you want.

Personally, I'm more inclined to agree with the former, but as this is only your third SAT, you should be fine.

I'd say that 4 and up is too many times. I've met people who've taken the SAT 7 times...

7 times is crazy! I took it once, and I'm not taking it again.

Harvard says that ten times is not necessarily too many.

But don't neglect other aspects of your application once your test scores are in a good range.
