So, I have taken the SAT twice already.
First time, I received a 2040 without studying so I figured I would retake it (with studying) and I received a 2020.... my superscore is still only 2070 :( I want to go to USC, and I am afraid that I need to get 2200+ just to be safe....

Will taking the SAT a third time just be a waste? As in, will they be able to see that I've taken it so many times?

And I forgot to mention that, while my score may be within the average scores, if I am admitted I would also like to receive SOME kind of scholarship. And I know with my current score I won’t be getting anything…

You do not need a 2200 to get into USC, but since you have the time, go ahead and take the SAT again - if that is what you want to do. You will get into a fine school either way. Best of luck!

I am also applying fo USC this year and I strongly encourage you to retake it. Taking is three times is never a big deal. Most of my friends have taken it three times. Also, USC participates in Score Choice, which means they will not see the low scores if you do not send them.
