So I've taken it twice already, and I haven't gotten the score I wanted so far. Im taking the test on June 4 for a third time, and people have told me that 3 should be the maximum number of times I should take the SAT because colleges and universitites will think that one has nothing better to do on a saturday morning or is just being a nerd. However, if I don't do as well as I hoped im thinking of taking the exam for a fourth time in October. Do colleges/universities take into account how many times youve taken the SAT as part of their admission decision?

As many times as it takes to achieve a decent score.

Yes, many (most?) colleges seem to frown on students taking the SAT more than 3 times. But, most colleges do not require that all SAT scores be sent. So, unless you apply to colleges that require all scores, you do not need to send all of them.
