Ok, the first time I took Chem, I got a 680.
Second, 730.
I intend to self-study for the AP Chem (study very hard).
Do you think it's worth retaking the SAT?
Do colleges look down at it?
Btw, I'm thinking about applying to HYPS, Northwestern HPME.

3 times is fine...but u may want to concentrate on getting high scores on other subjects

Any other suggestions?

any other opinions?

third time would b the last time i get it. make sure u score 750+

Yes, unless you are positive you will improve (there's not much room to improve, honestly), don't bother retaking the exam.

Practically speaking anything 700+ is satisfactory for top-caliber colleges.

Do you think it would come off as OCD or obnoxious to some top caliber schools?

Random suggestion:

There should be an SAT II economics test.

i think there should also be a SAT II Statistics test.

SAT Psychology.
SAT European History.
SAT Calculus.
SAT Art History.
SAT Ancient Greek.
Et cetera.

No, it wouldn't be OCD or obnoxious...
Here are my Math I scores: 600 > 660 > 750
I improved a lot each time, so in my case, it wouldn't be.

Retaking is fine, but you probably should be sure you'll improve.
