<p>I took the SAT twice last year - first time w/ no prep (but a pretty good score) and second when I was sick and couldn't concentrate, so I knew I had done worse before the test was even over (and I did do worse in every section.) My ACT score was good, but I still want to take the SAT again this fall b/c I think I can do better. Will it look ok to have taken it 3 times? And will the test I bombed hurt my chances? Thanks.</p>

Yup, its ok.. Some people say not to take it more than three times, but I say that if you can raise your score, go ahead and take it</p>

Colleges will only consider your top scores from each section, so your scores from when you were sick shouldn't hurt you.</p>
