<p>I interviewed for Presidential and received trustees letter today.. Gosh!! So excited!!
The thing is I don't get how my award got bumped up.
My interview wasn't great.. I tried to explain my interest in engineering, but they just stared me as if thinking "What the **** is this guy trying to say? SPEAK BETTER!!!"
They asked me if I had any questions, but I just said no I'm good and stormed out of interview room..
My ACT is 32, and SAT is 2100 flat. I'm 5/600 at school.. No major awards, but few local ones. The only thing I'm confident are my leaderships.. How is this even possible? I'm even from SOCAL too. Now I'm wondering, how many trustees does USC choose??</p>
<p>Hahaha! Not very many! Maybe they were staring at you thinking “What an amazing applicant” and it only *looked like *“What the *** is this guy trying to say?”</p>
<p>They aim to have about 100 enroll, but last year I think about 130 enrolled. They award about 250-ish. Maybe 200. So out of 38,000 applicants, that is less than 1%. Nice job.</p>
<p>Maybe they are trying to give more trustee awards for engineers. So far, there are three kids in engineering got bumped up.</p>
