lol naw i was in orientation 103. the person i'm talking about is an incoming electrical engineer. he went to diamondbar. haha i hope thats not divulging too much personal info.

You were 103? Same here! Which OC's group were you in?

my oc was ashraf el naga lol we were an all engineer group (basically a massive sausage fest, and one unfortunate female soul) =P how about you? we may have randomly met haha

My OC was Ashraf too! I was the only CS major in his group though. BTW, I was in 103, so same group as you, Kenshin.

CC, the great meeting ground of orientation buddies

Anyone from orientation 101 here?

80 units

folks, not the best place to post your names...

PM each other or something.

^ lol, honestly, i do not see what harm it could do. so what if random people on an online forum can connect a real name and a forum name?

there is no risk.

fastMEd,

It can do harm. Trust me. It's best to avoid using your real name online wherever possible.

I had Terry. Completely Chem E and 2 unfortunate EEs xD

Cool guy; Don't know why he was doing ChE since he's EECS ...

yea i was at 103 with that EE guy who finished the entire math 30 series sitting right next to me during the counseling session

im only gonna have 32 units =[. but my 13 units first quarter brings me to 45 =]

I'm coming in with 30 from AP classes. and... Well I don't know exactly how many from CC b/c the marine bio class I took gave me 5 units at Foothill but UCLA is giving me 7.5 for it. So assuming I get the same units as what I do at Foothill, I'm going in with about 25 units there. I'm taking 19 units in the fall.

there's a lot of people from 103 here! i was in 103 too. john d was my orientation counselor

Many engineers come into UCLA with sophomore standing. Some even start at Math 32B from college credit.

haha. flopsy, are you an engineer?

Yes.

i think i'm the kid from 103 you all are referring to cept i'm going in as mechE so... whatever lol.

i'm coming in with 82.5 and taking math 33a (but winter quarter cuz the only professor left was apparently atrocious as decribed on the awesome bruinwalk.com)
