How many Units is TOO many Units?

I'm a current freshmen at a California Community College and I'm hoping to get some advice or some answers about "How many units is too many units"?

I've planned my schedule for the next year (sophomore year/2nd year) and in that plan I have an expected 72-75 semester units cumulative (from my Freshmen year Fall 08' to Sophomore year Spring 10') with all my prereqs done as a Business Administration/Economics major depending on school.

I was wondering if I have at least 72-75 units by the end of my sophomore year, will it effect me from being admitted to some of the UC's such as UCLA or UC Berkely?

Yeah I saw. I was just wondering about if it will affect my chances of transferring and how it will calculate in my transferrable UC GPA for applying.

From personal experience, I can tell you it does not matter.

It just means units over that cap aren't applicable towards a degree.
