I'm planning on transferring to UCB, UCI, UCLA, SCU, and USC. After calculations, I have come up with a total of 110 UC-transferrable units. Is this normal/reasonable? I have no idea. It says the minimum requirement is 90 units. What's the average # of units that people take? Does this show "course rigor"? Thanks in advance!

I don't think UCs grade on "course rigor" because this the first time i've heard of it. 110 units are okay as long as it is from a community college. average units are around 90-105, but it doesnt matter how many units but more on quality

Yeah, they don't really care how many units you've completed as long as you have the minimum 90 quarter units. (This only applies to community colleges because of the unit max from four-year colleges.) Just make sure you've completed your major prereqs along with IGETC for the UCs and the required GEs for the other privates.
