How many units should I take in spring??

Do you need a certain amount of units taken at a UC to graduate??

Because i will have 60 at the end of fall and I dont know how many i should take in spring?

My major (philosophy) requires 13 classes for the major to graduate and UC requires 180 quarter units to grad.

My question is can i transfer with like 72 semester/108 quarter units and only need to take 16 classes to grad instead of transferring with 90 q units and needing 20 classes?

other than the 13 classes i need for my major, do they care what my other classes are to fill the units requirement or just all electives is fine?

The max you can transfer over (including both AP and CCC courses) is 70s/105q

if those 13 UC courses are 4q units each, you’ll have 52 Upper division units.
Since you took all of your major requirements, you can either double major, minor, or just take other classes to meet the minimum for graduation.

So you’ll have: 105q units
after 13 major courses 105 + 52 = 157.

You need 180q units to graduate, and 60 of them must be upper division.
So you need 23 units more on top of the classes for your major. 8 of the 23 must be upper division.
