How many units you plan to take in the first sememster at UC?

How many units you plan to take in the first sememster at UC?

twelve....

I'll be taking 15 units.

At CalSo they recommend no more than two upper division courses your first semester just so you don't selfpwn. I'm gonna take their word for it and throw in a one/two unit class here or there. I'm looking to hit 13.

13 planned here as well. (So tempted to take Latin, but I have a feeling it'd take up more time than I'd like...)

I need 15 for the honors program. So yeah. 15, I guess.

if you are going to take 2 upper division, how can you reach 13 units? What classes will you take beside the 2 upper division classes

12 =D

every quarter, except for ONE, which will have 13 units.

Edward probably means upper division major courses. Or I could be completely wrong since I haven't attended CalSO yet. The rest of those units can be filled up with electives or a course that'll fulfill the American Cultures requirement. I don't think you need to take upper division GE courses...

how many units do we need at UCB our last 2 years to graduate?

120-70units = 50 units

is the 70 from your CC? i thought they capped it at 60 semester or 90 quarter units that can be used towards graduation

About 14 I suppose.

anvilfactory> I tried to take latin last semester. It DID take up too much of my time. I had to drop it in the second week. (This left me scrambling for units). I have since learned that it is a good rule to sign up for more units than you actually plan to take (it's easier to drop a class than it is to pick one up after the semester starts). So fill up your schedule during Phase II registration.

When are transfer students allowed to begin registering for classes? After orientation?

12 units / 3 classes every quarter :) But if I take a minor, it'll be different (or summer school) I haven't decided yet.

Does anyone know what kind of "fun" 1-unit classes UCSD has?
