How many vocab lists did you all memorize?

I have RR and Hit Parade memorize with a week too go before the test. Would you say this is decent /enough or would you cram some more words in?

Zero...

10charmanders

i just did both volumes of direct hits. hopefully that will be enough-i don't think i can do any more before the test.

I think PR/HitParade is good. Don't have experience with them myself, but people say they're really good.

its never enuf

You don`t need to memorize vocabulary.I only reviewed both volumes of Direct hits and make no more than 3-4 (in the worst possible scenario) mistakes per test. The SAT is not only about vocabulary.QUite often,i answer questions when i do not know most of the words. In fact, sometimes the correct answer is an unfamiliar word .Sometimes i know all the words but make a blunder. It is not so much about vocabulary,it is about reasoning what type of word do you need (negative, positive, etc) You can answer the easy questions ,and omit the hard ones which contain really hard words, and you will still have more than 4-5 mistakes (which is 700++ if you do well on Reading Comprehension)

Ivan, didn't you memorize Barron's 3500 word list? And, also, do you mean 3-4 out of the 67 reading questions? Or 3-4 on SC's?

Ivan, I thought you had a 670ish on your CR?

I personally memorized 0 words, and got a 730 CR. :)

sparknotes 1000, blue book yellow card, and word smart

I expect sth between 620-670 on the Jan SAT ,just because i am not very fast reader.
Yeas ,i make no more than 3-4 mistakes in SC,but about 10-12 on the passages .I was stupid enough to try to memorize 3500 useless words, instead of training my reading.Of these 3500 words,i remember almost nothing, stopped reviewing them about 2 months ago.
Now i will probably have to retake in May in order to have a better CR score (600;760,780) doesnt sound good to me...

If you actually got a 2140 with that distribution above, you'd be in good shape for a junior.

I memorized the 400 TestTaker words

I memorized Rocket Review, Hit Parade, and Direct Hits

i memorized following lists/books:

Word smart I
word smart II
SAT Hit Parade
GRE Hit Parade
Kaplan's list(the appendage thingy at the back of comprehensive program)
Barron's 3500
Waltonwords 5000
Vocabulary Workshop

and bunch of words that I found on the Time magazie......

Wow, a bit much jsquare, yeah? I hope you can actually read otherwise the 19 points you get from sentence completions won't help you too much.

well i memorized most of them 'cause my school made me to do it(mandatory works)...

Absolutely none (tho I did skim through Princeton Review's list a few days before the test).
