How many vocab words do you study a day?

I plan to Studying the Barrons High Frequency Word list which has like 380 words. 10 words a day should allow me to finish in a good month.

But of course I know some words so it is lesser than that time

I highly recommend the Direct Hits Vocabulary book, volumes I and II. If you don't believe me, check out the thread on the results from different books on the May SAT. The direct hits vocabulary book had the most hits for the may test, and it had many hits for the june test as well. I have not seen Barrons High Frequency Word list yet, and i can't say that it won't be helpful, because it probably will be but give Direct Hits Vocabulary a try. It's on Direct Hits Publishing - Lulu.com

One word a month, really. I'll start studying more for the SAT's when I have to in my later years. For now, vocab is really not necessary for me.

im going to be using rocket review as well

I need to find some good SAT prep books to study this summer.

100+ words a day.

Just push it to the limit.

Didn't study a word. I went from a 660 to an 800. I was quite surprised.

got an 800 here, this site is all you need - http://www.superkids.com/aweb/tools/sat/. do as many lists a day as desired, i find it quite entertaining. i combine the mini lists in a single day into one list and then do matching.

I actually study 2 words a day.

None. And got an 800 in reading. I just read a lot in general.
