How many winter quarter classes do freshmen usually take? I've heard it's 4, but I'm not sure if thats too many or too big of a jump from 3 classes.

I am planning on taking 4 (from 3 this quarter).

A big jump would be 3 to 5. ;)

I think I'll stick with three again...

Most freshmen take who four courses Winter quarter do so because the fourth course is a 2-unit lab.

4 courses - 18 units here

Argh. "take who" ---> "who take"

07W class planner is up
enrollment times are up

4 classes - 17 units
chem20L is 3 units, but I'ma take that spring quarter

indeed the times are up

so whats a good time? i take it the earlier in the day, the better? so an 8 am is good, and an 8 pm (if there is one) is bad?

Good enrollment times are 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

are priority enrollment times done randomly or are they done by seniority?

i assume its randomly because i got an early one..thank goodness this may be the only time i can get into a poli sci class

urghhhhhhh

i got 11/17 at 10:30 am. there goes my classes (?)

11/17 is a VERY good date. Seriously.

question..how come ursa only shows my enrollment times for my first and second pass when i supposedly have priority because of my cluster?

Psych 10, Chem 14, and Stats 10....which two should I use for my first 10 units? Anyone know how fast each of these fills up in comparison to the others?

at least you dont have 11/17 at like 11pm...and you're still ahead of thousands of people, i wouldnt worry. hell what i'm worried about is 2nd pass... i.e. allie, how are you going to get your upper div comm on 2nd pass?

Uh...I have 11/25 at 6 AM so um...

11/17 sounds pretty damn good

im trying to enroll in a certain discussion. the ta is awesome

17 spots

sdkfmsdklfnsd

i got 11/22
thats way late considering i would have had to take 2 impacted courses.

but since i am not going, i dont care.

Ben- actually, upper div comm really isnt all that hard to get into. that's one of the amazing things about how hard it is to get into the comm major- it eliminates looooots of people and since the majority of upper div classes are restricted to declared majors, there's generally plenty of room for everyone.

Except this quarter i'm only taking 1 upper div comm course. i need to get an honors collegium and lower div comm course that ive been putting off forever out of the way.
