How many wrong/blank can I have on each math section to get overall math 700?

Hi everyone. In my final math preparation for the October SAT I, I'm doing one BB math section per day. (I'm only doing it to increase my speed of solving math problems, not to improve my endurance on the test.) But I don't know what this converts to for my math score (all sections). I want to get at least a 700 on math. How many can I get wrong/leave blank on each math section to get this score?

I just want an estimate, not an exact answer. I realize that it depends on whether you get multiple choice or grid-in questions wrong. It would be great to have a couple different scenarios from people.

Thank you so much!

Anywhere from 4-7 points off. Usually 5 or 6 though.

I got 3 wrong and a skip on the last test for a 710.

It depends on the difficulty of the particular exam and the subsequent curve. In general, aim for three wrongs or less if you want to be on the safe side.

That’s in the whole test, right?

Yes, for the whole test.

Okay. That will be difficult but I’ll work towards that. Thanks!

3 wrongs or 4 omitted will safely be a 700
4 wrongs is very likely a high 600s

Okay, thank you! Good to know.
