How many years of foreign language are required?

<p>How many years of foreign language are required? My D16 is in Spanish 3 and I am afraid that AP Spanish might be too challenging for her next year.</p>

<p>For admission, level 2 or higher in high school minimum, level 3 or higher recommended. There are other ways to fulfill the admission requirement, such as standardized test scores in a language, or college courses in a language.</p>

<p>For graduation, it depends on the major. Level 3 or higher in high school fulfills the L&S foreign language graduation requirement, but some majors require more. Some other UCs do not accept just level 3 or higher in high school for graduation.</p>
