I am a transfer student planning on attending a UC. How many years am I allowed to study their? I heard only two years, but I was wondering if i can stay longer? Is two years the max? I know two years should be enough for a transfer student to complete their major, but I am also planning on doing my pre med and my major is not science related. So will i be able to finish my major and take the right pre med classes and will I be given more time then two years to do so? I ask because I don't think two years is enough time for someone to complete pre med and get their majors degree.

You will have to check with each UC, as the policies may differ from school to school.

Its usually only two years if you take 4-5 classes a semester and take summer classes. A lot of students finish in about 3 years. Im sure you can be there as long as you want or at least 4 years.

Haven’t been here in a while but i can answer this one.

I transferred into UCI fall of 2011 and i graduated after winter quarter 2012.

It depends on the number of unit you transfer with and the amount of core major classes you have left.

I did 3 classes in Fall,4 classes in Winter,4 in Spring,2 in summer, 4 in Fall , 3 in winter

So not too packed about 12-16 units a quarter and graduated a quarter early.

Graduated with an Economics degree if your wondering what major

^^Wait, don’t you mean UCI Fall 2010?!
