Out of curiosity, does anyone know how many students they accept to Newhouse each year?

I’m pretty sure it’s around 350 spots. I am applying there too for broadcast journalism. Good Luck

No actually, they like to say 350 spots to make it sound more difficult. That really bugs me, to be honest. What they mean is that the class will probably be comprised of 330-350 students. To that end, they admit something like 900 students. A little more than a third of the accepted students take the offer, and Newhouse gets it’s 350-student freshman class.
It’s like planning a party, invite 3 times the people you can handle, and hopefully (assuming you’re neither the coolest or nerdiest kid in school) a third of the invitees actually show up.
