How much are you expected to help?

How much are you expected to help arould the house? It's just my mom, me and my 3 year old brother, but my mom thinks I should do more around the house than I think is fair. I want to who is closer in their opinion of what most of you do. By the way I'm in 8th grade in the honors program but currently have no ec's.

I have to admit that I don’t do as much as I should. I always take out the trash, and I will occasionally do the dishes and laundry, but that’s about it. I’m beginning to feel like I should attribute more to the daily chores:(

I do the dishes…I’ve cooked breakfast a few times.

I am replacing our carpet with hardfloor (400 square feet), but I’m getting paid 300 bucks to do that.

I occasionally run the dishwasher and put the dishes and cups away, vacuum the rug, do laundry, and mow the lawn. But not too much in the school year, more in the summer.

I avoid helping anytime I can- but i still have to especially summerwise.
I’m taking care of my siblings wednesday to friday for like eight hours this summer. I wash morining dishes and my father’s evening flask. Ocassionally, I clean the floors ( never scrub) anytime we mow lawns/rake/snowblow I help there too.
I don’t have to do much. I try to do less.
Oh, and I do all my own laundry. I hate that.

bump bump bump

I do the dishes two days a week, clean the upstairs bathroom, since basically only I use it, and keep my room passably clean.
My parents used to make me do a lot more, especially my father, but I got really depressed a while ago and since then they treat me sort of weirdly.

I carry plates into the kitchen after supper. Sometimes.

^hahaha. Same here.

But sometimes I get into this cleaning frenzy and I clean the whole house.

Of course I never received any sort of allowance…
