No, Diva. Look at the previous page.

I just buy the general things that I know I'll need. One of my classes specified certain things before summer even started. For other classes I'll have to wait until school starts.

I basically know everything I need for most of my classes!! No we don't get supply list at my school..

Mechanical pencils, pencil bag, binders, notebooks, paper, required stuff for teachers (like tissues and paper towels), etc = $30-50

Back-pack = $25 tops

Orchestra (a set amount that they're forcing us to pay) = $100

well i buy my textbooks since i go to private school, but i also sold some so i didnt spend so much. so..

textbooks- $260
supplies- >$30
uniform/school clothes- $155 ($40/AE school pants, $25 lands end polos)
school shoes - $50

oh yeahh i need to buy school shoes too, that'll be like $200 probably maybe $150

I already spenT $1100, and man did it hurt 3 weeks of work down the drain in less than a few hours. and thats without school supplies.

clothing $300-450
basic supplies: $30-60

I need to buy textbooks b/c I'm taking college classes.

As for clothes...who the heck spends $300+ on clothes for school?!!?!? That is such a huge waste of money. I don't spend that much on clothes in the entire freaking calender year. Insane.

they're not only for school, i know i have to spend that much (and more) for clothes just on the weekends and breaks, and i have a uniform so im not buying them for school obviously

how do you not spend at least $300 in a year on clothes? where do you shop?

Wow, for me, over 80 dollars on clothes is insane, especially for something like school ;)

I spend like $40 max on like 2 - 3 polos for the whole year. And maybe a one pair of jeans. I wear 1 pair of jeans with a combo of 3 polos. And exactly one pairs of shoes.

It's all good man :)

300+ is not that much in my opinion for clothes! I guess it depends on were you shop..Soo you only like to spend $40 dollars for school clothes??

i spent 375 dollars on clothes. that sounds like a lot, but i go clothes shopping maybe twice a year, and i never buy clothes in between. also, all these clothes are from the department store. i hate outlets--since i go shopping so rarely i need to stock up on lots of basics that i can mix/match, and you can get more bang for your buck at the department stores.

i am buying 0 school supplies, though.

Yeah, $40 or so. Last night I asked my dad if we could go shopping for new shirts and he got really mad lol. I'm not sure I might even get new clothes for next year. :D
I'm ok with it, but its kinda annoying, because you're wearing the same thing you wore the year before... and the year before that... lol

Ohh I c..thats cool!! I don't think people remember what you wore last year, maybee some people do but I never do!!

Actually, they might, because I spent a third of the year in one shirt, a third in another, and a third in the third shirt.

:p

I (or rather my parents) will probably spend up to $650-700. The comforter and bedsheets we just bought alone costed $250. There're a few more clothings I need which will probably cost ~$300 and there'll be another $100-150 or so for school supplies and dorm decorations (including new floorlamp and several items I want to order from Sky & Telescope)
'

oh college stuff doesnt count. this is back-to-school, not off-to-school

Supplies < $10

Maybe like < $50 on clothes.

Well, it all comes down to how much you would spend for a new school year and I saw this as the appropriate thread, regardless if you're boarding student, to list them here.
